As an ex-hotelier of the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, and having staying at many Four Seasons properties during our past travels, my husband and I have a certain expectation whenever we stayed at any hotel of similar level brand. Truly, the St. Regis Mauritius exceeded beyond our expectations!

The staff were beyond friendly, providing unparalleled service. From the Management to the Line Staff, each and every one of them are so genuine and such lovely people who would do everything and anything to make you feel special and to ensure your holiday is how you want it to be. My husband and I both felt like royalties throughout our 8 nights stay at the St. Regis Mauritius.

Atma from the Beach Bar was fantastic. He was so enthusiaistic about making sure our food and drinks were good was always checking in on us to ensure our drinks were not left dry!

Ravi, our Butler, .... an ABSOLUTE GEM. Not a day goes by without Ravi coming to check in on us, making sure we were having an enjoyable and relaxing time. His hospitality was phenomenal and always delivered first class service.

Special shout out to Varsha and Shailesh Bungaroo and also Ravi, the Manager in charge of Floating Market and Atsuko. They provided impeccable service and their hospitality made us enjoy our evenings spent at the 1904 Bar and respective restaurants.

The food at Simply India was the best Indian we've ever had. Not forgetting Atsuko, the beef tenderloin was simply to die for.

Overall 9 out of 10.

Once again, a BIG thank you to all the Management and Staff for making our holiday a one in a million. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

We stayed at the St Regis Mauritius for a week for our honeymoon and we had the most amazing time and loved every minute of our stay and we would highly recommend!

The hotel, facilities, beach and location are stunning, the property is very well maintained and looked after and the guest experience is incredibly well thought out. Having the striking Le Morne mountain as the backdrop of the hotel was so special and made us feel like we were in paradise (which we really were!)

We stayed in a Beach Front Junior Suite opening out on to the a garden then the beach
Beyond and we loved it. The room was very spacious, elegantly designed. We particularly loved the bathroom, the huge egg shaped tub was great as was the dressing area. We were fortunate to be in room zone 2 which was very close to the main house, pool and restaurants.

I loved that there was yoga on the beach and enjoyed doing that twice, sunset was particularly special, I would have done it every day if it was available!

The Spa was great and we had a lovely complimentary couples massage as part of the honeymoon package. The lounge area looking out to the sea is particularly spectacular and we enjoyed watching sunset there.

We ate in all 4 restaurants and enjoyed all of them! Every meal we had was excellent, there was great choice on the menus (even for a non meat eater like myself). We had the full board package including lunch at the Boat House Grill. The breakfast buffet was excellent, food was really fresh and lots and lots of choice. Loved the main options of fresh juices that could be made to your choice.
The chef on the Egg station, was so lovely and she greeted us so cheerfully every day! Drinks were a little pricy put as to be excepted at a 5* Hotel on a remote island.

We enjoyed all the restaurants and great to have such a good choice of cuisines, I would say Simply India was our favourite both for food and service. On our last night they had prepared a special table for us just because they knew it was our last night, which was a nice touch. The romantic meal at the Beach house Grill was very special too and a great little touch was a personalised menu with our names on which is a lovely keepsake to have. When we returned from the dinner they had arranged a rose petal trail to a lovely bubble bath, which was a lovely surprise!

Out of everything above, what stood out for us by far was the staff and the service. Every single member of staff, was friendly, cheerful, professional and personable. They all really gave the impression that they genuinely cared about making our stay special and that they enjoyed their jobs. There are too many too mention, but a few key people that really made our stay so special were Noor in the Beach Team who looked after us so well every day and ensured we had our favourite cabana and Levi and Keenan our butlers. The Butler service really does make a stay at a St Regis standout. The little inclusions like complementary cappuccinos every morning and our clothes pressed every night are lovely value adds that are so nice to have.

I have worked in the hotel industry for 16 years and have high standards and I honestly couldn’t find a single thing I would change about the hotel or our stay - it was totally perfect! We very much hope to have the opportunity to return! Thank you to all for a wonderful stay!!
