For us, we wouldn't travel to Boulder without staying at the St Julien. It is a beautiful, perfectly situated property steps to all of the restaurants and shopping you may desire. The mountain views are incredible and well worth the upgrade.

Another city. Another conference. Another...hello! This is a delightful surprise. Warm welcome at the front door. Easily found the front desk - why are some hotels hiding them? - with helpful staff. A double king room facing the courtyard. I was concerned as there is music in the evenings and it quieted by 9pm. Whew. It's tough when you're an early bird. Big shower *and* a big tub! No space sacrificed here.
The meeting staff were lovely. Brought a cappuccino to the check-in conference staff each morning. That's thoughtful for a can-be-unpleasant job. The catering was superb! And the AV/IT staff was friendly and helpful with every physician who had a presentation.
I am delighted to know that this conference has already rebooked for next August! Comfy pillows, wait for me!
