Overview

A luxury, boutique hotel property, the St. Ermin’s hotel provides a grand home-like environment to its guests. Its smallest guest rooms only sleep up to two people, but for families, the hotel features a number of room options. The Junior Suite, with a king bedroom and a living room with sofa bed, can sleep four, as well as the King Bed Sleep, a Deluxe Guest with two double beds, and a family room with two beds, two bathrooms and accommodations for five. Amenities include free Wi-Fi and afternoon tea in the Tea Lounge. Al fresco and casual dining may be found at Caxton Terrace, May through September, while Caxton Grill serves lunch and dinner throughout the year. Family Time packages provide a two-night stay for families with two queen beds, a daybed and two bathrooms, breakfast, and a bedtime story book for each kid.

Had a nice stay

very nice hotel, clean room, although a bit small (compared to other Marriott properties we stayed before, like having double sink, larger bed, more than 1 table and 1 chair, etc). good breakfast, though it gets old after a few days of eating exactly the same thing. We stayed 4 nights.room thermostat works.
location is close to St James underground station, downside is, it was closed 2 of the 4 days we were there for maintenance. The bus stop is close enough though as alternate to taking underground. We did not know this the first time,so we were huffing and puffing running to get to Victoria station so we do not miss our tour bus. The Royal Mail post office across the street from the hotel was quite convenient, as we had to mail a package to our friend in UK. Only one elevator (lift) was working, and the lift is quite small and says fits 8. fits 6 tightly, All hotel staff was A+. Great experience with afternoon tea at the tea lounge.

Whilst there are nowadays ample choices of hotels in London belonging to the Marriott group, the St. Ermins in Westminster has a particular flair and attraction with its iconic building and decor.
The staff is marvelous, well trained, knowledgable and just super friendly and helpful.
Thus spending more than 3 weeks here whilst exploring the town is delightful.
St. James’s Park as well as St. James’s underground station are just around the corner, too, this makes for easy a cess to transport or for wonderful walks in the park.
