Stayed at this location during a recent visit. We arrived earlier than expected and attempted to check in three times and was told, to check back in a hour for three hours, finally at approximately 3:00 we were allowed to check in. I understand there is a check in time, but I was told they were no rooms available, they were being cleaned. However, when I returned to the front desk 15 minutes later a gentleman was checking in with no issue and a room was all of a sudden available.
The hotel room was slightly worn. We had a clogged sink that required maintenance’s attention, there appeared to be water damage on the ceiling and the curtains were stained. I was surprised the items have not been addressed or fixed.
The housekeeping staff was very kind and professional, though they moved at a slow pace. The breakfast was plentiful and the attendants made sure the food stayed stocked.
This is the second issue I’ve had with the SpringsHill Suites brand in two different states within a two month period. This was my last stay at a SpringHill property.
