The ambiance / looks of this hotel are not fantastic but the room size is decent and so is the service. I read the hotel is updated, it still felt a bit dated but overall the room provided what it needed to provide. The heating/cooling device is quite noisy. Like many other hotels chains, no complimentary water which I should be standard for any business hotel in my view.

This hotel was easy walking distance to everywhere we needed to go in Milwaukee. It has been recently updated, so everything was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the pillows okay. We stayed in a corner king suite, AKA a room with a very weird layout. The television could not be viewed well from either the bed or the sofa. And the bathroom had a pocket door which opened right at the foot of the bed, so there was no way to take a midnight potty break without waking your bedmate. Parking was expensive. There was no way we were going to pay $30 a night for the valet, and the lot next door was $28 a day. The lot behind was $20 a day and pro-rated for times less than 24 hours. There was convenient access to the hotel through the skyway, too. Breakfast was just okay. The first day, the only fruit was suspicious looking bananas, the second, there was no fruit at all. All the cereals were of the sugary variety. In fact, the only no-sugar option was the scrambled eggs and bacon. I would have loved to see some oatmeal, and of course, fruit. Altogether, it wasn't a bad stay, I would just get a queen room and pack some oatmeal next time.
