The hotel was clean and modern. The free parking was a plus. The breakfast was ok, the usual powdered eggs and cereal. The hotel is next to a metro depot and the noise was terrible, lots of grating brake noises, so no quiet sleep for us. When I complained about it to the check out clerk, and asked if it was always this noisy, he just shrugged and said yes and I should have gotten a even numbered room for a quieter sleep. Gee, thanks for that info as we're checking out. Won't return and can't recommend.

I am surprised not to notice any reviews mentioning this, but the hotel is next to a metro depot. I was woken up by 5 am each day by the noises of the trains, which sounds like Nightmare on Elm Street when Freddy drags his his talons against metal! The windows are inadequate at blocking the sound. Tried earplugs which did not sufficiently the disturbance.
