Everyone is walking around in their white Norwich spa robes so it feels a bit pretentious. We chose this place as a meeting spot between friends ( MA and NJ). We did not partake in any of the spa services so we felt a little alienated ( as we were in our regular street clothes...).
We were disappointed in the rooms we were given. The rug seemed quite old and the chair was all worn down and a bit slippery as though it needed a good cleaning or be replaced. The room just had a grungy feel, we expected something nicer.
The food in the restaurant was very nice, we enjoyed breakfast there, went for a walk and then came back for lunch before we all headed home.
The grounds are lovely to walk around. We ate at a wonderful local restaurant for dinner that was just down the street ( Bella Fiore).

The entire staff was friendly and extremely helpful. It's a historic inn but everything was well maintained. The room was a nice size and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and sauna. The gym was well equipted. The coffee in the morning was good and the tea and scones in the afternoon was a great touch.
