South Point is a quaint, modern hotel located right alongside English Harbour. Each of the hotel’s condo-style suites overlooks the water. Guests can choose between the standard one-bedroom suites and two-bedroom Penthouse suites, all with full kitchens, dining areas, balconies overlooking the water and lounge areas. Every room has a walk-in closet, cable television, IPod docking station, bathrobes and stocked minibar. Continental breakfast, in-room coffee, tea and bottled water, Wi-Fi and parking are provided free of charge. Connecting rooms are available. Cots should be requested in advance to ensure availability.
The hotel features both an upscale restaurant and a more casual option. There’s a spa and a fitness center, as well as a pool overlooking the harbor. Laundry service, drycleaning, babysitting and room service are all available upon request. There is small, private beach, however some of Antigua’s most popular beaches are located within walking distance as well, as are a number of restaurants and bars.

Great place but bad timing as they were not fully reopened during the off season. Staff was AMAZING overall. Pool and room were amazing. I would stay here again but would need to know they are fully open.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at South Point. We had the hotel completely to ourselves as we stayed out of season but it only added to the enjoyment for us. Our room was lovely big and spacious with a beautiful kitchen and fantastic bathroom/dressing room. The aircon worked perfectly and was a very welcome relief from the heat outside. Every member of staff we met were so friendly. The lovely ladies who cleaned our room each day did a wonderful job. Breakfast was perfectly adequate each morning with a beautiful setting overlooking the harbour. We had dinner once which was delicious. Even though it was out of season there were plenty of places to eat outside if you chose to. It is a 10 minute walk to Nelsons Dockyard and Pigeon Beach and you can catch the bus at the end of the road straight into St Johns. We will definitely come back to Antigua and would without a doubt stay at South Point again.
Well done to all the staff you run an absolute gem of a hotel and know how to make someone’s 50th Birthday vacation very special
