This is a small, older hotel with cinder block walls, but it has been completely updated and is super clean and cute and convenient. There is a spacey living area, which includes a kitchenette with everything you could need - fridge, microwave, toaster oven, dishes, ice, etc. The bedroom was big enough with a comfortable king-size bed, and the shower had great water pressure. The decor was very well done - clean and modern but with a colorful retro vibe. We has a slight challenge finding where to check-in as it's a very small office, but once we paid more attention, we found it. The woman who checked us in (owner? no idea) was gracious and helpful. The beach is directly across the street through a public park. You could see the ocean except for the trees and other flora that block the view. This is on a dead-end street so there is no traffic - it's nice and quiet.
The only possible issue was that the wall a/c unit was loud, but in more of a white-noise kind of way so it didn't keep us awake.
You can't find a better value than this, and I highly recommend it if you are in the area.
