Overview

The Sonesta ES Suites Princeton is a modern hotel with funky furnishings and decor, and a great option for families visiting Princeton, New Jersey and the surrounding area. The hotel is situated about an hour’s train ride from New York City, and an hour’s drive from Philadelphia. Of course, it’s close to Princeton University and downtown Princeton, New Jersey.

There are a total of 124 one- and two-bedroom suites that are perfect for families, with sofa beds, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, DVD players, and, best of all, fully equipped kitchens — dishwashers included! Dining areas can also be found in all rooms. Pets are welcome in select rooms, as well.

Other perks include a complimentary buffet breakfast, evening social hours, an outdoor swimming pool, and a lounge called the Family Living Room. There’s also an onsite laundry facility and free parking available to all guests of the hotel.

my so & i planned a fun filled weekend 10/18-10/10/20 w/many activities & events in the princeton area.

we checked in & were in our room by 310pm. w/in the first 5 minutes i inspected the room & called the front desk w/the following issues; no fitted sheet on bed, no top sheet on bed, all walls had scuff marks everywhere, brown stain on rug, no bath mat, pull out couch w/brown stained mattress on 1/3 of it. maintenence came to remove the mattress pad although i wanted a new couch instead, housekeeping came to resolve sheet issue although they don't have fitted sheets, she, nicole then proceeded to "clean" brown stain on rug w/water and my personal napkins!!!! i did comment that, i did not consider that a cleaning. after all a brown stain means chocolate, mud and/or feces!!!!! i then ran to the lobby to buy cleaning supplies for all light switches had brown/black marks on them. i then washed all remotes w/dish detergent, a scrub brush i brought, antiseptic and an old clean

Overnight getaway

Though located on Route 1, we felt we were in a peaceful location. The 2 bedroom suite was perfect; both rooms had their own bath and their own TV. The kitchen had a full-sized refrigerator and large stove. There was a fitness center and a basketball court. The breakfast had a variety of choices and all were excellent. This Sonesta would be my first choice whenever I'm in the Princeton area.
