I was planning my family's first vacation trip out of Texas. I knew we wanted to go to Colorado but had no idea where exactly. I started looking for hotels all over Colorado and this seemed like the best choice for us. I booked the Two Bedroom King Loft Suite with Fireplace which had a king size bed on the top floor along with a restroom/shower. The bottom floor had the living room area with a couch, tv, kitchen and a bedroom with two beds and an additional restroom/shower. The price was very fair for 5 people staying 6 nights. This hotel offers free breakfast which was absolutely amazing! Each morning they had something different like eggs, bacon, pancakes, french toast, sausage patties, it was basically a breakfast buffet. They also had a social night on Tuesday and Wednesday night where they gave out food as well. On our stay they gave chili with the best ever cornbread (I normally dislike cornbread so much), the next night they served chicken sandwiches. For a family of 5 that was staying 6 days this saved us a lot of money.
Everyone there was friendly, especially the person who first checked us in, I wish I had gotten her name. Everything was really clean and it was in a great location. Every morning as we walked out of our room we had an amazing view of the snowy mountains. The hotel is pretty close to many attractions around like the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Royal Gorge Bridge/Train, 7 Falls, Helen Hunt Falls. There are many things to do around the city and neighboring cities.
