it wasn't great either. I should note that the hotel is undergoing renovations, which comes with the usual disruptions which are understandable. The room I had was spacious and had some nice amenities like a microwave and mini-fridge. It also had a distinct funky smell. It wasn't an overpowering funk, but definitely noticeable whenever you came into the room. The cable TV would go out periodically. The room was mostly clean, but I did return one afternoon to find all the used linens and towels for all the rooms on my floor piled outside their respective doors. I'm not sure when someone eventually came and picked them all up. The breakfast is okay, tending to favor quantity over quality. The selection is good, although the coffee is weak. The staff was friendly. The pillows were soft. I however would explore many other options before staying here again. The renovations might improve others experiences in the future.

Booked this room in advanced, but upon check in were notified that we would being staying in one for one to two nights then would have to move because of renovations! Did not like that but agreed and went to the floor to find a complete mess with construction in progress. Mattress and torn out carpet everywhere, there was drilling , hammering, painting with strong fumes present. The room smelled musty and walls and floors were in bad shape. We returned to the front desk and told the clerk we were not staying and got a refund. The night clerk was not very helpful!!
