Spotless and comfortable room. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast above average compared to similar lodging. The evening soup and salad bar is way above-and-beyond the call of duty. (We arrived tired and didn't much feel like going out to hunt for a place to eat. The soup and salad bar saved the day. Thanks!)
Sleep Inn Idaho Falls is a great place to stay. Let's keep it our secret, ok?

We stayed here last year, and came back again. It is truly a gathering point for snowbirds. We are moving south permanently and we were extremely tired when we came in. Knowing that we could eat on premises was a great help. The meal was spartan, but sufficient. Bagged salad mix, excellent creamy Italian dressing, very good warm dinner buns and two kinds of soup made up the meal. There was and coffee, but I was pleased to find two-percent milk. There are cookies if you can eat sugar. There are no sugar free options for diabetics. The handicap room was very roomy. The bathroom was large, but had a low tub rim without being a walk-in shower. The toilet was standard motel height, meaning very low. Why are not chair-height toilets or higher required in handicap rooms? With my portable riser it was crowded against the wall. The room heat unit was in Auto, which meant heat or cool to the selected temperature. During the night it almost never shut off, either loudly heating or cooling at all times. Without these glitches, five stars all the way. Fairly priced, comfortable and clean.
