The Skaket Beach Motel is an excellent option for families looking to spend a quiet weekend in Orleans. A Ritz-Carlton, it is not. But if you’re looking for a clean, pet-friendly property with friendly management and excellent customer service while visiting Cape Cod, this is it.
The motel offers several different types of rooms, ranging from deluxe guest rooms to three-room suites. All rooms come with air conditioning and heat, a coffeemaker, a clock radio, and a mini-fridge. While the two- and three-room suites can handle a maximum occupancy of seven to ten people, we think a Deluxe Room is ideal for families, with a maximum occupancy of five. Children under 5 stay free and there is an onsite swimming pool.
Complimentary muffins and coffee are provided every morning, but several supplemental dining options are nearby and shops and stores are located right across the street. The motel is located five minutes away from Skaket Beach — an excellent place to take the family for a day on the water, and is also close to Nauset Beach, the historic Jonathan Young Windmill, and the French Cable Museum.
