Silver Dollar City, Missouri, is known for its theme parks and fun-filled attractions, but the Midwest city offers even more beyond the games and rides. Silver Dollar City’s Wilderness Resort offers families a taste of the country. Choose from three different sizes and styles of log cabins: loft cabins, pioneer cabins or rustic cabins. All cabins come with queen beds, full beds, twin bunk beds, daybeds and/or trundle beds. Cabins can house up to four people.
Amenities include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and grill, but vary according to cabin. Full kitchenettes are available, as well as cable TV and private bathrooms. Families have the options of living like the pioneers did, too, and can experience life without these amenities or an indoor bathroom. With this option, families can use one of the three public bathrooms, with private stalls and showers, located throughout the campground.
Families can spend time walking the grounds, enjoying nature, jumping in the pool, playing games in the game room or venturing into town on one of the shuttles to do some shopping. Shuttles to the local theme parks are also available.
At the end of the day, enjoy a home-cooked, or home-grilled, dinner and S’mores around the campfire with the family.

We camp all over the United States and this campground is right up there with the best of them. We have camped at SDC campground probably 15 times and they have been incredibly consistent, clean campsites, up to date heat and AC bathrooms! Nice swimming pool and playgrounds. Like any campground some sites are better than others. If you have a group coming there are modern cabins to rent. There is a free shuttle to SDC Park. If you are in the area often, Silver Dollar City Amusement Park Season Passes will get you discounts off the camping fee. Every winter they run specials with discounts for rebooking. Can’t say enough good things.

All around great time. Not sure what to expect with the cabin experience, but it was a wonderful three days. Staff was very professional and helpful.
Had a problem with the door keep fob. Key kept falling off the ring. Stopped by the office and asked for a replacement....which they gave me.
We were gone all day...and got back after a late show. Could not get the key to work. Looked at the key tag and realized in stead of getting key for #27, we had a key for #37.
I found a phone number for after hours maintenance. Told him my problem. Even though it was after 11pm, he responded immediately and let us in.
That incident expemplifies what a positive experience this whole weekend was for us.
