nice motel, fair price

2 couples travelling through Colorado. nice and clean motel on Durango's main street. the price fair and the owner friendly and helpful. definitely recommended. Close to everything in Durango which we found a cute and interesting small town.

We were recently traveling through Durango and were able to obtain two rooms here without having a reservation. The owner who checked us in and was very friendly and professional. She allowed us to look at the rooms before we committed to staying.
I was pleasantly surprised at the overall cleanliness of the room and the property. There is a nice grassy area with picnic tables and a gas grill. While this is a older property you can tell it has been well maintained. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet during our stay. We were able to walk to a barbecue restaurant just a block up the street. If you are looking for a clean reasonably priced place to stay without all the fluff of a big chain hotel then I would encourage anyone to check it out. I would definitely stay here again.
