Overview
by FVC
Away from the beach-crazed throngs, the resorts at Siesta Key’s south end remain quiet, reserved, and full of personality. The bungalows here are a prime example with their stylish décor, lovely gardens, and deluxe beach cottage feel. Many of the 10 units take advantage of water views. A quiet lagoon separates the island in two for a short distance, and the resort faces mangroves fronting private homes across the way. It’s known for its bird life and protected paddling.
Many of the units are good for families, and most have pullout sofas in addition to their sink-into-oblivion pillowtop beds. The Catamaran unit is particularly suited to families with its separate bedroom, two entry doors, and space for up to six people.
Turtle Beach is less than a five-minute drive. Loaner bikes are available, but only for adults.
