We spent 2 nights here while traveling in the area. We were pleasantly surprised to have our room upgraded. We had a beautiful view of Muskegon Lake from the 10th floor. The room was large and comfortable with a separate sitting area, a Keurig, fridge and microwave. Another unexpected perk was the lounge off the lobby where we enjoyed local draft beer. There is food available at the lounge that looked really good although we didn't eat there. We didn't try the daily breakfast but it seemed like a good value.
The nearby restaurant (a very short walk along the marina) had excellent food. We had a delicious dinner with excellent service and a great view of the lake. The restaurant was busy so go early or make a reservation. We went around 4pm and had no problem getting seated but it was full by the time we left. Both of our meals (planked whitefish and a trout special) were spectacular.
The property is very well maintained. The staff is terrific. The room was comfortable and a great value. We were happy to "discover" this gem and will definitely stay here again.

Two day planning conference. Group of 15 in the lower conference room near the pool. Room itself was fine. Dinner reservations were list for the Lake House, forcing us to go offsite. Breakfast was later being delivered the next morning, as were the boxes lunches. Both those meals were bland and unremarkable. Probably never go back.
