I made a last minute reservation for this hotel using points. It was well past midnight so I called for a ride from the airport and a friendly voice let me know the driver was on the way. The driver arrived quickly and exactly where I was told to wait. He was very friendly and we had a great conversation to the hotel.
Upon arrival I saw a well kept hotel that was clean, the perfect temperature, and overall gave the perfect vibe. However, the customer service is where the hotel really shined for me. When I went to check in my debit card didn’t work as my bank issued a fraud alert. I called the bank and apparently instead of clearing the alert, the customer service rep at the bank activated a card that was sent to me in the mail... which I had not activated yet... which made my debit card worthless. I spent a long time on multiple calls to my bank because I had only brought my debit card. Wanda at the front desk saw my problem and that I had booked with points. She could have just let have to go back to the airport to sleep on a bench or just not worried about me. Instead, she confirmed the points were available and got in touch with her manager, getting permission to give me the room without a card that works on file. Wanda saved me that night. Literally.
The room itself was perfect. It was clean, well taken care of, and clean. It’s a bigger room and would be great for business trips and romantic weekends.
Overall this hotel is amazing. The building itself was great, but the people were all kind, thoughtful, and caring. I’ll be back.
