The location of the hotel is superb - in a very quiet and pleasant corner of the downtown close to park trails etc. The staffs are superb, making every guest feels like they are most welcomed guest of all. I have stayed here more than a handful of times, it is one of my favorite go to hotels in Calgary - always reliable and pleasant. The suites are quite well appointed although the bedroom can be tight if you have the two queens version. I always choose the single king-size bed version. Little additional touches like a humidifier in the room is much appreciated especially in the winter. General room lighting is a bit on the dark side but task lighting is adequate. Bathrooms are great and with strong water pressure and very hot water for a relaxing/invigorating shower. The furniture and carpet are well kept but are beginning to show their age with the odd dings and fraying here and there. Food is good in the two restaurants on site and there are also several eateries nearby including the Keg two blocks away, a small mall opposite, plus other more "family fare" places like Joey's and Spaghetti Factory close by. The C-train stations (both east and west bound) are just a 5-7 min walk away.

Great location walking distance from all downtown amenities and businesses. Connected to the +15 and city bike and walking paths. Great river side scenery summer and winter. Suite rooms are very comfortable. Gym area is very convenient.
