Lovely hotel, noise problems

Very elegant property with adequate public rooms. Downtown about 3 blocks from the MGM Casino & 1/2 mile from Basketball Hall of Fame. However, in a very rundown area so not a great place for walking. The top floors are very noisy, apparently from the ventilation system. If you go, ask for a mid-level room.

A great place to stay in the middle of Springfield

I enjoyed my week-long stay at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch. Every staff member I encountered was accommodating and kind. My room on the 10th floor was comfortable. There is access to Picks restaurant and MVP sports pub within the hotel. Easy walking distance to MGM casino, museums and notable restaurants. I’ll be back!
