My stay at the Hotel was somewhat disappointing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was disappointed in the room and some housekeeping issues. However once it was brought to the attention of Ronald Wade, the front office Supervisor the situation was dealt with in a more than satisfactory and professional manner. Ronald's excellent customer service skills are an asset to the hotel.

I have stayed at The Sheraton University City Hotel several times over the last few years, as my son is a student at University of Pennsylvania. The major reasons why I return is because of the following important factors. The beds are extremely comfortable which fulfills what is probably the most essential element for any hotel -- "providing a good night's sleep." Another important reason is the hospitality and quality of service extended by the staff at the front desk. Over the last few years I've been fortunate that the personnel at the front desk have always been attentive to accommodating my requests. One individual I've had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with at the reception/check-in desk is Ron Wade, the Front Desk Supervisor. From the very first time Ron has always made sure that my stays were pleasant and more importantly he assured me to never be bashful if there was something I needed whether it was a special request or if there was anything not 100% to my satisfaction. Ron understands the meaning of hospitality which has become something not always provided by other people in the hotel business. I look forward to seeing Ron and his Front Desk staff when returning as a repeat guest at the University City Sheraton.
