I stayed here on business in September 2019 for one night. I had meetings near Capitol Hill, but there were many events occurring around the same time. As a result, the hotels in DC were either fully booked or very expensive. Even lower end hotels by the airport were full. I booked a night at the Sheraton Pentagon City out of necessity, but I am very glad that I did. The hotel shuttle picked me up at the airport, and it had a reliable schedule. The staff was friendly, and the hotel was clean.

The hotel does appear to be showing its age a bit, but I found it to be clean and functional. The staff is friendly, and my bed was comfortable. The internet speed was good, and the breakfast in the morning was also quite good. The neighborhood of the hotel is also not bad for being away from Washington, DC. I was able to walk down the street and find a selection of restaurants. I enjoyed my stay here. It was both affordable and enjoyable.

Helen, who works the weekday breakfast in the exec lounge, really went the extra mile to make each guest feel like part of the family. The front desk staff were also smiling and welcoming, all around a great place to stay. Shuttle could be more frequent though (maybe combine mall and airport into one route)
