This hotel had friendly staff and perfectly situated within walking distance of several restaurants and the Movie Tavern. It is an easy on easy off the freeway location. I pondered with my rating a bit because I didn’t believe it was entirely poor but definitely not a solid average either. Towels were not very clean and there were so many that it cluttered the already small bathroom.
The bed was very uncomfortable, in fact, I cut my stay short after two nights of restless sleep and switching to the second bed in my room. Paper thin walls and the noisy neighbor didn’t help much. To top it off, my room was directly below the concierge lounge - avoid this room. You will hear the constant walking upstairs until shut down time and if you are trying to get an early sleep; forget it! Service was mediocre at best with the front desk. My check in was great and the lady went over everything, friendliness was not the problem. The opportunity was service! Trying to get ahold of someone by phone from my room; it took 4 separate calls, ringing over a minute each time and spaced at least 5-10 min apart in case they were so busy that a call couldn’t be taken. Finally a lady answered I explained that I was leaving early so they could adjust my portfolio and I could check out online. Morning came and the option was not available - when I got to the front desk, Kalvin told me that there were no notes that I was checking out early. Not a big deal, it was corrected but just goes to show that service is lacking. Now, I would be remiss if I didn’t say that the breakfast was good and the servers were amazing.
