Stayed there for three nights while visiting friends and family in the Twin Cities. Sure, I would have rather her stayed in downtown Minneapolis, but at half the price and free parking this was the way to go. It's conveniently located off of I-494 and that came in handy because we were driving all-over the Twin Cities.
Check in was smooth sailing and would have been even quicker if I opted to use my phone as my room key.
Being a Marriott platinum member we stayed on the club level, but I'm guessing the rooms are the same throughout the hotel. The bed was super comfortable and I was able to make the room dark.
There are always a few nits I would pick, but none are deal killers.
The bathroom has a tub/shower combo with a rainfall head. At 6'1" it was a little short for me and a prefer a traditional shower head with pressure like a firehose.
For safety purposes I don't like glassware in the bathroom.
The light switch for the bathroom lights are located outside the door. This means in the middle of the night you might wake someone up before you can shut the bathroom doors.
The Sheraton Club is a nice perk. Breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, oatmeal, fruit and continental break items. My better half like the "latte coffeemaker". I'm not a coffee or tea drinker and I appreciated my daily caffeinated soda.
In the evening there was a cheese and meat selection, crostini and other snacks.

The Sheraton Bloomington is conveniently located at the intersection of Hwy 100 and I-494. The route in is a bit circuitous but manageable. Join entering you are immediately impressed by the huge space. One of the hotel’s bars is located there with lots of comfy soft seating as well as tall tables with computers available. Check-in was quick, easy and very pleasant. Our room was well-appointed and clean. We enjoyed our 6th floor view of I-494, feeling thankful that we weren’t commuting ourselves! The hotel does not serve breakfast, but there was a nice continental breakfast in the Club Room and a full breakfast was served in the hotel’s restaurant, Lila’s. The bar in that restaurant has a second happy hour from 9 - 11:00 that proved to be lively and fun. The $3, $5, and $7 appetizers were very good. Mike kept the bar running smoothly, turning tables quickly because there were always more people wanting in. The hotel and restaurant teamed together to make our stay completely comfortable.
