Great experience and choice

Will compare apples to apples here.
This hotel is very nice and great staff. Experience was very good with a small exception. Reception, lobby, checking in were all perfect. Breakfast was very good and met the needs. Room was clean and comfortable. Yes room was small as the case with majority of hotels there and even in Europe. Bathroom was larger than expected and maybe 70% the size of the room! The heater/ac only worked as a heater regardless of setting and just heated the room when I wanted just air or AC. I hate this in Europe where you don't get to really control your comfort level. This was the case in 90% of the hotels I stayed at. So you can set the thermostat to the lowest setting yet it delivered only hot air.
Noise level from the street was very good and surprisingly low. Noise level from my neighbor was high whether could hear them talking, opening and closing doors, or walking. These firedoors are rediculous. It's hard to get in the room as it's shared with my neighbor and have to hold the firedoor open then open my door then walk in and release both doors. They don't make sense and just add unnecessary noise. Maybe it is regulation.
The location for me couldn't be more perfect. 2 underground stations are just footsteps away, Hyde park around the corner also foot steps away, and an entire street filled with food and stores for all your needs. Also exchange foreign currency for cheap with 0 commission. Loved walking and taking the subways (which were super busy).
For the price paid, the value was great and no regrets. Hotel was very nice and well maintained on inside.
Room had many comfort items including water kettle, hot chocolate, coffee, & tea. Had 1 water bottle just the first night. Light controls with dimmer at the bed and a nice TV.

Stayed here with my girlfriend and nephew, we had two club rooms. Very clean, a nice view and very good value. Check in and checkout was easy and smooth. The staff working at reception; Pilar & Gabriela were very helpful and friendly. We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food.Good location.
