Overview

Located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Seven Circles Retreat is a very small but charming property. Nine guest rooms and campsite areas during summer months are available with rooms including free Wi-Fi. The bare bones motel-style property is extremely budget friendly, and guests can elect to include three meals with their stay for less than $10 per person. The 24-acre property provides a variety of entertainment, including a book, CD and DVD library. A swimming pool is also on site.

hard to get to, hard to get to the parks from here too - no services nearby save a sometimes open saloon.

a Motel 6 half way up the mountain toward Kings Canyon/Sequoia parks. A pool they don't heat. a good kitchen. Some rooms have AC, some don't. tons of bugs in August - yellow jackets, bees, wasps, tarantulas, mosquitoes and gnats galore at night. Thankfully it cooled off each night by 10 PM. Wifi in the common building not usable in the rooms. It desperately needs an ice maker. It wasn't expensive. nearest convenience store/gasoline station is about 20 miles away which takes about 40 minutes to get to. If you're looking for a minimalist and quiet place go for it. A kind young man was the host most of the time - he's leaving however. Didn't care for the manager much.

Great Quiet Retreat

This is a nice place to get away from it all. It is a retreat center, but it fit our needs as our family gathered near by. Rooms are two twins and two bunk beds and each room has it's own bathroom. Perfect for a family reunion or a group getaway.
