Massage review: I am sorry to say, but this was hands down the worst massage I have ever received. I was very particular in my information card that I wanted a very strong, powerful massage. I forget the guy's name, but he was hippie-ish. He kept saying that the myofascial release massage was incredible, but he barely touched me. When I told him that I wanted him to squeeze harder, he said he couldn't until my muscles "let him in." It was clear he paid no attention to my requests. He was just so bad and I am so disappointed. I wasted 2 hours and $180 bucks. With that being said, my wife didn't hate her prenatal massage by her female masseuse. Yelp wouldn't let me put zero stars.
Room review:The room was fine, but the TV was broken, which was unfortunate because we were looking forward to vegging out for a night off from the kids.

So I found the room to be quaint and generally comfortable. It is not trendy decor, but I wouldn’t expect it. It’s modern and does not feel old at all. They try to be very accommodating in the room and the linens etc are nice. The room is spacious.
This is not a large chain hotel so you cannot expect some amenities.
However, our mattress was painfully hard even with the topper.
It was a rainy weekend so we retreated to the inn with our friends whom we spent all day with. There is nothing to do at the inn on a rainy fall night. The social areas are very small. The bar is unattended and has the only TV. Not sure if it is cable. The rooms do not have cable Tv and the reception was not good on the antenna.
We left a night early because the thought of being bored a third night and another bad sleep was more than we were willing to endure.
The breakfast as others mentioned is lackluster. For all of the great things baked in Door County, none appear here and all breakfast options are cold except for what you might heat up yourself like toast.
