NOT ACCESSIBLE!!!!

by pitsii

the hotel is pretty, nice architecture and decor, but so inaccessible..! and worst than that- they believe they are accessible... (because asking the handicap to get off the wheelchair and go up a few stairs on his own because it's too hard to lift the wheelchair with him on it is totally accessible..............)

you should note that if you're tall you'll hit your head a lot, as the doorways (as nice and curved as they may be) are very low. also- forget about sitting comfortably on the toilet seat, as the vanity blocks half of the toilet legroom (and keep in mind those are the "accessible" deluxe rooms). in these same rooms, you'll find that adding a bed for a third person blocks half the doorway, making it either impossible to pass with a wheelchair or impossible to get onto the double bed when having to push single bed into a diagonal position.

food was ok, service was fine, location is great if you can walk (many stairs and weird old city stones that aren't too easy to walk on), there's no parking next to the hotel and they did not provide an extra toilet paper roll in the room...

ohhh and the elevator...! the available floor buttons on the elevator are 0,1,2,3 (or was it -1, 0,1,2?) yet the elevator will stop on the floors: 0,3,4,5...?! so rooms 200+ are on floor #4, which in order to it you should press the button 2........ extremely confusing and not user friendly.

it's an ok hotel for the old city, but honestly I would just not stay in the old city again...

Good Location

by Marriedwonderers

In the Jewish quarter of the old city. Not easy to get to. Once you’re there it is a good location close to the western wall. Breakfast is good, lots of selection, excellent coffee. Rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable. They need to update the towels they are very worn out. Staff is friendly and helpful.
