Overview

On the west side of town with good views of the red rocks (not directly from most rooms/suites, though), Sedona Summit is an ideal resort for families. Suites range from studios to a luxurious three-bedroom “sunset suite” with a Jacuzzi, and rollaway cots or Pack n’ Plays are available on request. All rooms are Wi-Fi equipped, and some units come with kitchens and even washer-dryers to make your stay convenient.
There are four pools and six hot tubs on the property so none are ever overcrowded, and other onsite activities include a playground, game room, and teen-friendly clubhouse. Breakfast is not provided, but the resort is close to area restaurants, and unlimited coffee, hot chocolate, and tea are available throughout the day in the lobby. Be aware that the concierge or sales staff may pitch you on a timeshare during your stay; they’ll offer a gift card or other incentive in exchange for your time, but you can feel free to decline if you’re not interested.

We enjoyed this location with all the amenities if home to include washer and dryer. Lovely accommodation, full kitchen needs, pools, spa pool and more. There were activities but we had our own. This is a favorite place to stay when in Sedona. Away from the normal tourist areas.

Sedona Summit now adds on an extra $16.95 a day fee for activities, whether you use them or not.
Internet coverage is poor. as was my smartphone connection. The location is great for hikers or bikers, with trail networks going both west and east from the resort.
