Overview

Completely renovated in 2012, Sea Ranch Resort features oceanfront, oceanside and condo-style suites for families. Guest rooms feature either a king bed and full sleeper sofa or two queen beds with a small refrigerator and microwave, while condos feature two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and washer and dryer. All rooms feature cable TV and Wi-Fi.

This oceanfront hotel in Kill Devil Hills is a perfect summer hotel, offering seasonal on-site activities from Memorial Day through Labor Day, such as touch tank aquariums, deck parties, fishing, live music and beach yoga. Cabana beach service and beach access make it easier for families with young kids to enjoy a day at the beach, and older kids will like the game room opened in 2013. The indoor heated pool is open spring through fall. The hotel’s Beachside Bistro provides ocean views and outdoor season during spring through fall months, including a kids’ menu.

Still Coughing

We stayed in the main building with no ocean view in a large room with an obvious smell of mildew. There is a loud dehumidifier in the corner that blew cold air all night. There is no control button. The heat is also very loud and they were in competition. A humidity gauge was hidden behind the tv. Mattresses were old with a sink. I would not
recommend this place but the employees and restaurant were great.

Amazing place to stay

Right on the beach. You literally walk right out on beach. Super clean all over. The rooms were just amazing. For the price, I could not ask for more. Showers were strong. A/C worked well. So close to everything you would ever need.
