If like me you were worried about how bad the reviews are and it’s too late to change your hotel, don’t panic!
It’s a very old and dated and needs modernising but If ike our Family you are just using it as a base it will be fine.
When we arrived they gave us a villa that was too small and then the next one had people in it including a dog! By the time we got our third house I did think it was poor there was no table considering we were a party of 8, however I couldn’t be bothered to swap again.
We had booked a virgin holidays 2 years prior and stayed in a standard villa but felt we were not in the house enough to warrant the extra costs of a beautiful house and pool so down graded this time.
When we arrived I thought I’d made a grave mistake but after the 2 weeks we all agreed it was okay and had saved us just over £700 so a significant saving.
We spent most of our days at the parks so didn’t spend much time in the house at all so it served its purpose.
The bedroom sizes were good but not the communal spaces we wouldn’t have been able to have all 8 of us in the family area/kitchen at any time.
The children liked the pool as it’s heated and we used the washer dryers,I had read they’re complimentary but there not it will cost $4 to wash and dry and you need to have it in quarters but reception will give you change.
I’d read that the customer service was poor but I found them to be fine and any issues we had were resolved really quickly.
For me I think there are some quick fixes -
An electric kettle we had an old school hob kettle that took 20 mins in the morning !!!!!
The bathrooms in all of the properties had rust around the plugs - they need replacing.
The location is brilliant you are so close to shops/restaurants and Parks so after a long day at Disney it’s a 10 min drive and you’re home.
We never paid for dishwasher tablets as house keeping would replace every time we used it.
Towels were changed regularly and shampoo conditioner and body wash is complicated too.
I have to say and I’ll feed back to virgin im surprised they give it the rating they do but like I said it was significantly cheaper than the villa we had 2 years ago.
If the price was rig again I think I would stay there again

The resort is basic and has basic amenities. It provides a bed and place to stay while abroad. However watch your belongings, some cash disappeared while we were out for the day and while not a huge amount, who knows what else has been rummaged through by housekeeping. The kitchen has basic appliances and crockery, but the cupboard is half hanging off the wall and surfaces and cupboards need a good clean. Shower and bathroom not overly clean and water pressure is very poor. The entire resort needs a renovation and for staff to be taught basic manners.
