This resort is more than a casino. The kids’ program called Kids Quest offers supervised entertainment for kids ages six weeks to 12 years for an hourly fee. Kids will love the rocking climbing wall, arts and crafts, arcade games and dramatic play area at Kids Quest. The indoor pool will also keep them busy. The guestrooms and suites offer free Wi-Fi and a free continental breakfast. The suites have a separate living area, dining table, refrigerator, and a queen-size sleeper sofa. Families can choose from several onsite dining options including Emeril Lagasse’s Italian Table, a buffet, an Irish pub, deli, bakery and market.

We stayed here on a whim. We were at the casino, listening to a band in the Molten Lounge and playing some slot machines, and, because we had overnight coverage for the kids, decided to stay, rather than Uber home. The staff was very friendly, and when we mentioned that we had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite at a recent Marriott stay due to platinum status, we inquired about a rewards program for Wind Creek, we were told that they do not have a program, for which the clerk apologized. We checked in and when we got to the room, we discovered that we had been upgraded!! What an incredible suite it was, too. The clerk should be a pro-poker player. Complete game face when talking about upgrades, then completely hooks us up without letting on!

Stayed here for 1 night on a road trip from northern Michigan before heading on the short journey into New York on a Friday afternoon. Room rate was very reasonably priced.
We booked the room before the change over from Sands, so we were a bit thrown by the new Wind Creek signage on arrival as we had received no e-mail about the change of ownership. There was no bellman or valet on arrival so we self parked and used the trolley to cart the luggage up to the room.
Good size and clean room on 14th floor with two queen beds and views of he hills. The plumbing from the adjoining room was slightly noisy.
Ate an evening meal in Emeril’s Fish House and breakfast in the Steelworks canteen. Both were good.
All staff were friendly. We had no interest in the casino. Just a place to stay for the night.
