Newly designed, this downtown San Jose Marriott is located near the convention center and welcomes families to its property with a heated rooftop pool and comfortable, renovated rooms. Guestrooms offer a king or two double beds, with a Junior Suite providing a divider wall that separates a king bed from a sitting area with sofa bed. A Concierge Level provides special lounge access Monday through Friday. Note: It is closed weekends, when most families are traveling! The lounge provides free hot breakfast buffet, all-day hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages. Cribs and rollaway beds are available. Wi-Fi is available for a daily fee, unless a Marriott loyalty member.
The property features the Corner Market coffee house, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as the upscale Arcadia Restaurant. Open for all-day dining, this steakhouse requires a dinner jacket in the evenings. Coin-operated laundry facilities are located on the property, which is pet-friendly and welcomes non-aggressive dog breeds.

We spent the weekend here and were very happy with it. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and clean. You can upgrade to include breakfast which really exceeded our expectations...a full spectrum of breakfast food, kept fresh by an attentive staff. Got us set for the day. Highly recommend!

It is just chaos, the rooms were not ready for over 3 hours, nobody knows what is going on at the front desk, an absolute disaster, somebody should have this organized, it is an absolute nightmare, you will literally sit in the lobby for 2 to 3 hours and they will tell you 30 minutes, no thanks to this Marriott, I love Marriott but I will not return to this one. How you can run a Marriott this disorganized is just beyond belief, disgusted, if you stay here be prepared for an absolute disaster at check in, do not plan on getting a room before 3 pm at the earliest.
