I’ve visited this location on countless trips over the past 5 years, but have noticed a huge improvement in the front desk staff in the past 2 years & i believe it’s all thanks to your star Front Desk Manager, Kaitlyn. I have seen Kaitlyn almost every time I have visited (& at all times of the day AND night! Don’t managers have nights off?!) & she is a shining star & embodies customer service. She consistently has a smile on her face & is quick to greet guests & see if there is anything she can do to make their experience better. I started staying at your hotel with my family due to the proximity of the stadium, but I have come back because of Kaitlyn.

San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter
Want to point out the unfair treatment that my party of three and I received at the Altitude sky lounge by Eric Sattler, and by another member of the staff by the name of Tony. We were wrongfully accused of throwing an unknown item over the balcony, which it never happened. I confronted Eric and assured him that we did nothing wrong, to the point that I even demanded for him to look into the surveillance camaras in order to proof our innocence. Eric simply stated that he had to go with what Tony said, that it was his word over ours. It’s sad that Marriott has unreliable and untruthful personal working. If indeed we did something wrong why would I asked Eric to check surveillance camaras? Obviously because we did not do anything in order for us to get removed from the lounge. I hope this never happens again, it’s unfair that just because an unfair and unreliable person whom lies, can get away with things like this. I was under the impression that Marriott employers were beyond the normal standards but after seeing the attitude of Eric Sattler and Tony I will no longer give my business to Marriott. Sad that this was my first time staying at a Marriott and it will definitely be my last!.
