Overview

Located less than 10 minutes outside of Galway’s city centre, this hotel is in the Salthill section of Galway along the Salthill promenade. Families will love the awesome views of Galway Bay from here and enjoy strolls along the promenade. The beach is just a two minute walk away. The hotel’s Leisure Centre features an indoor pool, sauna, fitness center and Jacuzzi. The 161 guestrooms feature double and twin beds, tea/coffee makers, a flat screen television and a shower/tub combination in the bathroom. The Family Rooms feature one double bed and two or three single beds, which is great for larger families. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. A full Irish breakfast is included daily with your stay as well. The two onsite restaurants served dinner.

Nice bar, not very clean rooms or group food service

Our bathroom was not clean, the toilet seat, wall behind it and counter around sink were dirty. I also saw a silverfish bug on the floor. We were with a tour group, 30 people, the meal service was terrible, the food was below average (tough, dry meat). The bar was spacious and comfortable with great service.

It was a lovely hotel and the staff were very helpful. The food in the restaurant was lovely and a good menu.
The rooms were very nice and we found the hotel to be quiet at night.
The bar had music in the evening and it had a very relaxed atmosphere more like a local pub than a hotel bar which we liked.
