Pros: great midtown location, friendly staff, clean, quiet room, comfortable bed, low price for NYC.
Cons: sorely in need of renovation - 1980s era bathroom, chipped paint, etc.
If you’re looking for luxury - or even something like a Hampton Inn - this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a clean bed for a good price in a good location, this is fine.

Visited New York for a 4 day break and chose this hotel based on the reviews.
The lobby was dingy and dirty. The reception staff were surly and abrupt. There was only one lift working which was extremely slow. We had the standard twin room. It hadn’t been properly cleaned. Someone’s dirty hat was left in the room on a chair. The daily clean was hit and miss.
The bathroom had very slow draining drains and leaky toilet, black mould, peeling paint and rotting wood on the doors and units, Damp on the bedroom walls I have no idea what the other accommodations in this establishment is like but I would definitely avoid this place in the future. It’s very old tired and in dire need of a makeover and some better trained staff in customer service. Overpriced for what is offered compared to nearby alternatives. Yes the room was spacious but that’s about it! Very disappointing.
