The largest hotel in Salem is also located on its waterfront and within walking distance of many of the area’s attractions. Traditional rooms with king bed or two doubles are available, with a Junior Suite perfectly suited for families with a king bed and a queen sofa bed, providing living space during the day. It also is equipped with a small refrigerator and a microwave. Onsite dining is available from breakfast through dinner at the hotels Regatta Pub Restaurant, which also provides in-room dining.

Pros location, free parking, friendly staff
Cons. Over priced for room with no fridge or microwave, poor beds, fitness room next to guest room, 2nd floor. Heat did not work . No offer of compensation at checkout.

Good overnight in Salem

This was a perfect location for our stay in Salem. The woman at reception was professional and friendly. The hotel is clean, free bottled water in the room, and comfortable beds. It was easy to walk everywhere we wanted. We had an excellent dinner at a nearby seafood restaurant. The one thing I would change is getting the breakfast package. I think we could have had breakfast for less than the cost they charged. We were the ones who chose it though. There was no pressure by hotel staff to buy it. However, the young man who waited on us in the morning was very pleasant and competent. If in Salem again I would stay here.
