A sinfully delightful boutique hotel that plays off its saintly name and devilish New Orleans locale, the Saint Hotel is one of Marriott’s unique Autograph Collection offerings. The hotel is located on Canal Street at the edge of the French Quarter. Families will want to select the double queen room options, which are 320 square feet in size and include 46-inch flat-screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi. Luxurious suites with Murano Glass chandeliers, exposed brick walls, claw-foot tubs, Bose sound systems and two 60-inch flat-screen TVs are available but only provide king beds. The Archangel Michael Suite features a kitchen with full-sized refrigerator and microwave, glass dining table and crisp and heavenly white and blue décor. These may work for a family of three or a those traveling with an infant. The Archangel Lucifer Suite, with its bold reds, is a two-bedroom, 2.5-bathrooms suite provides two king beds. However, as its name implies, this master suite is a bit naughty and includes a stage with lighting, mirror ball and dance pole, so you may want to pass on this suite when traveling with the kids. Onsite dining is available at Tempt, which serves breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. daily, and dinners on Thursdays through Saturdays from 6 to 11 p.m. Room service is available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Great location on Canal not far from Quarter, CBD or Convention Center. The lobby is lively with fairly loud music throughout, and the lobby bar is great place for a drink, if you are not trying to be too quiet. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds, nice linens... bathroom has powerful rain-head shower and great towels. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast choices were a bit eclectic, (Zaps potato chip eggs Benedict) but very nice, but the table service was a bit spotty.

Stayed 6 nights on a friend's referral. Decor is very "sexy, groovy, yeah" that is great for couples and hipsters. Location is so close to French Quarter and Central Business District that we never wanted for a car (ubered 4 quick trips to dinner over 6 days - high heels!). Door men, front desk, most bartenders were fabulous and attentive in every way possible. The lobby bar is a super cool oasis. Housekeeping cleaning your room prior to 4:30 pm each day seems a bit of a novelty at this hotel. HALF of our stay (3/6 days!), our room was NOT cleaned upon our late afternoon return. On these days, we'd vacated for 4-6 hrs. On late Saturday afternoon, we exiled to the lobby bar after having the front desk address the 2nd consecutive day uncleaned. Unfortunately, we left the bar after one quick round due to several failed attempts at getting bartender's attention for a 2nd. Seems she was too caught up in taking bottle inventory. This was a rather unfortunate series of events. Good news for travelers is that The Ritz is right next door. They also have a very nice bar on the 3rd flr with high quality "free" snacks and great people watching. The Saint is definitely worth a try. I mostly want to stay again, but I can't confidently say that will happen, given other options.
