Right in the park. Room was clean, warm, (cold in early November), and provided food. Food was delicious but limited. Took the full day tour direct from the Lodge. Worth every penny. Recommend it to everyone, but understand, it is an open air vehicle and you are knocked around for eight hours. The views are so worth the aching body the next day.

This lodge, run by the very hospitable Navajos, is inside the park with easy access to all the sights and tours. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and reasonable. The cafeteria had good choices of food at very good prices. I actually tried mutton stew for the first time and found it delicious. Special thanks to Cassandra, who always brightened my morning.
