We spent a week at Royal Tunjung and for the most part, it was very enjoyable. Staff were all friendly and checking in was easy. The grounds are nice with lots of trees and gardens. The rooms were good and comfortable and the beds were large and good to sleep in. The bathroom was what let it down a bit. Our shower head was mounted too low for taller people. There was supposed to be a position to hang it higher up but that had broken off and not fixed. The location is good. Close to shopping and bars and restaurants. The beach is only 5 minutes away. We only had breakfast there once and it was pretty average. There are better places close by. Wifi is provided and I had no problems with it while we were there.

The villa was nice and staff are great, that's the only good thing I would say. Breakfast was horrible, unlike other resorts, it didnt have much choice and some food was quite disgusting. WIFI wasnt good, constantly dropping, basically didnt work most of time, or you have to sign in few times! The chlorine in the pool was also overloaded???? The main reason I gave low rating is actually because we were not happy with the hotel manager. The hotel didn't have water for an entire day, and we had issues with the room lights, the hotel manager didn't say anything nor offset anything to us. She was quite arrogant when we were talking to her during the check-out, especially when we said we didn’t touch the bottle water in the fridge, but she still argued with us and showed bad attitude. It wasnt NOT ABOUT THE MONEY, only like $1.2 for a bottle of water we needed to pay, even if we didnt take it! It was about respect and hospitality towards customers! We have been to Bali few times, we enjoyed the stay and Balinese each time, however we never see such A personality! The hotel isnt big only few villas, all I could remember was the manager was telling us :"Customers have to come to me, I dont need to apologise for any inconvience!" So even though your hotel didnt have water at all for a whole day? Ridiculous! Learn how to speak before you talk to customers next time!
