Royal Palms: This garden-setting boutique hotel is the most popular with couples, but families love it here as well. Nearly every visitor to the Royal Palms leaves with great things to say about the hotel staff, who are courteous, attentive, and happy to help you plan your day. The hotel is a great home base for families who like to stay busy, since they are located near the ferry, bus terminal, and a wide array of restaurants. Choose either a room or a suite, both of which range from “superior” to “deluxe” depending on your needs (the hotel has 32 individually decorated rooms in total). Families can book adjoining rooms/suites to stay close to one another. There is a small pool onsite, but most of your swimming will probably be done at the many beaches and lagoons around the island.

Very friendly helpful staff . Small hotel with excellent facilities close to downtown Hamilton Bermuda. Met a number of guests and staff were exceedingly helpful for suggested daily activities. We have been to Bermuda a number of times and 2nd time to this hotel. Wouldn't change a thing.

Small boutique hotel, within easy (15 min) walk of downtown Hamilton and buses and ferries. Buses are available, reliable, fast, and cheap. The front desk told us how to get various places and what bus to take.
Nice pool (a bit chilly, but warmer than the ocean), nice room with excellent maid service (they rinsed out my sandy shoes), friendly co-travelers from everywhere in the world.
Good continental breakfast, great bar and superb restaurant. The restaurant (Ascots) was our favorite on the whole island.
