My wife and I stayed 6 nights and found the location to perfectly suit our needs. The resort is set back from the beach by its gardens so you are sheltered from the wind, peddlers and the party music from down the beach. Everything is still right there when you want to party and there's even some beach breaks if you want a surf.
They have a vegetarian menu and a healthy eating menu so there are options for vegans that were hard to find in the surrounding restaurants.
We had a great stay and the staff were very nice.

My family and I had an excellent stay at Royal Seminyak MGallery. Just whenever you stay at MGallery or Sofitel brands, you expect to have an outstanding stay and this hotel did not disappoint. Even though this hotel is old, it is very well-maintained and very clean.
Things I loved about this hotel:
-Spacious and clean room
-This hotel has an exotic tropical feeling
-Superb breakfasts
-Great staff
-Great pools
-Quick access to clean dan fabulous Seminyak Beach

The only thing that I disliked was the bathroom in the room. For a 5-star hotel in Bali, the bathroom (especially the toilet pot and shower) was annoyingly and relatively old-fashioned, small, and unsophisticated.

In overall, it was an excellent stay and if you want to have a tropical feeling stay in Bali, this hotel is a very good choice.
