GREEDY, Reckless, irresponsible, unaccountable, insulting.
You would think that staying at one of the largest and most expensive hotels near the Orlando Convention Center would result in a stay of exceptional quality and luxury.
THINK AGAIN.
I stayed at the Rosen Plaza Hotel, spending over $275 nightly, plus $25/daily to park my car. Spending $25 dollars EVERY DAY JUST for a place to park seems like a lot right? Well, this was VIP Valet parking. I handed off my 2017 Mercedes GLS 63 AMG to Valet Service at approximately 4pm. I tipped the valet employee to please put my car away from other vehicles. He eagerly took the cash tip, but apparently forgetting to hold up his end of the deal.
I never called for my car until my departure, Tuesday morning at approximately 10am. At 10am, I was given a soaking wet car, clearly parked OUTSIDE (despite asking to be placed in the parking garage), obviously in the range of lawn sprinklers. I guess that is all you can expect for $25 a day. I guess I should be happy I wasn't robbed or perhaps the car taken for a joy ride.
Upon returning home (short drive from Orlando to Tampa), I noticed three large chips out of my paint, on an otherwise pristine vehicle. I called the Rosen Plaza Hotel and was handed over to their valet service manager. He took the details of my vehicle and confirmed they had indeed parked my vehicle, they filed a report.
I heard nothing for over two weeks, until I had to ask for a status update from the Valet Manager. I was then sent an email from their claims manager, Jennifer Corino, who stated that they cannot be held liable for damages because they don't know where I drove and I had not noticed the damages. Jennifer implied that although it is LIKELY that they caused the damage, that since I didn't NOTICE the damages on a soaked wet car, that they couldn't fix their mistake.
So now, I am stuck with a $1000 hotel bill, $100 worth of WORTHLESS valet parking fees, taxes and resort fees, and a damaged vehicle. Add to that, the INSULT of being treated like a liar from their management team.
There are so many BETTER choices than the Rosen Family of hotels, choose anything, anyone else but Rosen Plaza. They don't care about their guests. They only care about profit and displacing blame to avoid being accountable for their actions. You can do better than this, quite easily, and avoiding the headaches that I now have fixing my vehicle as a result of THEIR RECKLESS and UNACCOUNTABLE behavior.
Rosen Hotels have seen my last dollar, as they should never see yours.

We had about 300 of us at this facility. It was great. The service the professional attitudes . Everyone had a "can do" approach to things. My contact was with Roger Morin, Assistant Director of Convention Services and Hector Sanchez , Director Event Technology prior to and during the events. During set up for one function we had some last minute changes. Juan and Nick with Hector's group made the transition easy.
