The Rodway Inn Fallsview is an older budget motel, keeping this in mind, is a good idea. We don't stay in motels, so we were taken aback at the way the room looked. However, it was clean, the staff was friendly and the location allowed us to walk to everything. This motel fit our budget allowing us to spend our money enjoying the sights of the mighty, spectacular falls and the surroundings of Niagara!

We were due to stay here for two nights to take in the sights Niagara and the falls had to offer but due to Hurricane Dorian about to hit Nova Scotia (our main holiday), we had to change our plans and we stayed for a very short few hours. The drive from Toronto to Niagara is long and mainly sitting in traffic no matter what time of day.
The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious and there are no lifts. We were on the top (2nd UK or 3rd US) floor. We had a view of the area outside of the hotel, which was open and large. We had no road noise and no other noise (the main people area was a good 20 minute walk away). The falls are about a 10 minute walk away (although I cannot confirm this as we walked from the hotel to the funicular for the Hornblower boat via the internal roads and not the tourist walkway).
For our one and only evening meal, we ate at Zappi's pizza and pasta Italian eatery outside the hotel (see other review).
This hotel is great value for money for the location. Weekends are more expensive. Don't forget to add tax to the price quoted.
And I thank the lady on reception the day we left who said we wouldn't be charged for the short notice cancellation of the second night due to Hurricane Dorian.
