Billed as a family’s gateway to America’s first National Lakeshore-Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, the boutique Roam Inn offers 18 rooms year round for traveling families looking to experience Munising and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in accommodations that bridge the gap between chain hotels and roadside motels. Of the 18 rooms, nine are suites featuring premium 600 thread count sheets and a warm duvet for those cold U.P. nights. The suites have a bathroom with a handcrafted vanity and oversized tub/shower, a living room with LCD TV with HD channels, and pull out sofa in a separate room that can be closed off from bedroom for privacy.
In addition to what the Roam advertises as “blazing fast” free Wi-Fi there is a fully Stocked refreshment center with snacks and drinks to enjoy while in the room.

This place was a great find!!! Room was clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing. The location is great if you plan to hike Pictured Rocks just a 10 minute drive. I will be staying here on a regular basis.

I was traveling through the area and needed a place to stay overnight. It was off season and I asked for a cheap, simple room. I got it and the price was right. Room was perfectly clean, comfy bed and pillows. Modest free breakfast and coffee ready for you in the main area.
