Overview

This luxury resort provides private cottages, with river or garden views, that are ideal for a small family of four. Each cottage has two queen beds, a private patio, cable TV and coffeemaker. You’ll be surrounded by beautifully maintained lawns and flowers, but it’s the Chena River that will hold your gaze. The main lodge at the resort offers a spacious lobby for relaxing and visiting, a gift shop and a breakfast buffet area. The onsite restaurant, Chena’s Alaskan Grill, is a great place to enjoy contemporary Alaskan cuisine from a deck overlooking the river.

River’s Edge Resort is located a few minutes from the Fairbanks airport. You’re within a mile of several large shopping centers and grocery stores. Many of the area’s most popular attractions are a short drive away, including Pioneer Park, where kids can explore an old gold rush town, ride an antique carousel and play miniature golf. Last stop, Fairbanks

Fairbanks and the River's Edge Resort was our last stop in Alaska. We arrived and got checked to our Garden Cottage Room. Yes, a Cottage. The River's Edge is a unique hotel and RV property. It offers lodging along the Chena River. It has rooms, cottages, and RV Lot. Each cottage has a private patio and a waling trail along the Chena River. This was a great location. It is minutes from the airport, The Museum of The NORTH, and the Riverboat Ride. This was a GREAT way to end the trip.

Great location, excellent cottage rooms!

We recently spent the night at the River's Edge Resort and had a very good experience. The shuttle from the train station was convenient, the staff were all welcoming and the cottage we had along the river made for a great night's sleep. We had a drink and dessert at the Chena Alaskan Grill right on the premises, having already had dinner on the train from Denali NP. A lovely spot. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and very reasonably priced. My wife and I look forward to staying at the River's Edge again. Highly recommended.
