Fourteen one- and two-bedroom stilted villas overlook the bay waters of Lake Placid with screened porches. Furnished with two twin or one queen bed, a pullout sofa, a small but fully furnished kitchen, and modern if a little worn appointments, they make a perfect family headquarters for adventure.

Guests have access to free canoe use, a swimming pool, an outdoor barbecue, laundry facilities, and boat rentals next door. Prices are affordable and pets are allowed with an extra charge.

Great location and lovely owner

Stayed for one night in November 2019. We hadn't booked, but the owner was really friendly and we got an apartment. The accommodation suited us, with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, along with a kitchen and separate bathroom.
The setting was the best bit- it overlooked the water and we could use their canoes, paddles and life jackets for free while we were there. We went out in the morning on the canoes and it was lovely. Thoroughly recommend it.
