Room was not cleaned from previous guest. Excellent location and would stay again only if renovations are complete and they clean the rooms. Glue and drywall debris on the floors. Floors had not been vacuumed or mopped upon our arrival or during our stay. Items from previous guest were on the floor

Upon arrival the front desk employees were wonderful and welcoming! We asked about the ghost of the hotel and they delighted us with their stories.I wish I remembered their names, but unfortunatley did not get them at check in. We loved our beautiful room that was River Street View. It was recently remodeled and beautifully furnished. There were a couple of hicups, wrong remote in the room and the phone was not working. The front desk had both issues addressed immediately. We had a great night sleep, but when I went to take a shower the water was luke warm at best and the elevator was not working when we left out for the day. Again, the front desk, Mia, resolved the shower issue immediately and offered to discount our room for all the inconveinces. After that we had zero issues. We attended one of the Manager Receiptions at which Ms. Jackie greeted us and poured our wine and offered us an array of appetizers. We sat to drink then met another employee that mentioned she is getting married within next couple of weeks. She was very informative sharing different sites and restaurants we should visit. The friendly service continued upon checkout with Maya and Ashley and Cedric took care of our valet parking. My new husband and I truly had a perfect honeymoon staying at River Street Inn, the location, ammenities and staff made the stay exactly what we hoped it would be. We are looking forward to staying next year for our 1 year anniversay.
