Part of the overall Zingerman’s brand of restaurants in Ann Arbor, the Roadhouse serves traditional American dishes or “Really good American food,” as it states in neon on the front sign. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as drive-up carry out from a former RV. Kids will love the fancy crayons, coloring book and scavenger hunt around the restaurant looking for Waldo. Make sure to check out the unique salt and pepper shaker collection by the bathroom, too!
Southern style BBQ and mac and cheese are the classics here and they do not disappoint! You can choose your type of meat, beef, pulled pork or ribs and the sauce you desire. There is the housemade Roadhouse mac and cheese or a variety of other options like fried chicken mac and cheese. Other menu items include burgers, fish, sandwiches and salads.
The kids’ menu offers things like mac and cheese, a hot dog or corn dog, fried chicken leg, grilled chicken breast and more.
